Is DirectX (Direct3D) faster than OpenGL and produces OpenGL a better quality of pictures? |
In principle, this isn't right. But Direct3D is able to create high quality of pictures, too. But it becomes so slow as OpenGL. Nevertheless OpenGL contains a functionality which is reached by Direct3D within the last years only. Finally OpenGL is already the standard of the graphic industry for years. But there is another fact, that OpenGL is slower in the past: The multi-media graphic cards and it drivers have preferentially been developed for OpenGL within the last years only. So it is important to use newer graphic acceleration cards (see requirements) and to download the newest drivers for your card. Also download the driver, even if you bought the card yesterday! |

Wy is the program Aeroglider® slower than other 3D programs, which ones seem to have a better graphic quality? |
Actually there are products, primarily games, which make a better impression with more frames per second. But these games are using a lower 3D capacity. Some examples shall show this:
So you can accelerate the frame per seconds with some aeroglider 3D-settings, if your computer or your graphic card is to slow or your driver is to bad. |

Can I do wingovers, loopings, ... with the gliders of AeroGlider® 1.09? |
No. The actual version of AeroGlider® simulates the movement only - like other programs. But the version 1.1 will calculate the complete aerodynamic of the gliders and the absolute realistic and correct movement will result from this physical calculation. The falling into the own glider will not be realized only. This new version will be available as an free update. |
